Being stuck in quarantine does not have to be sad and boring. This is a good time to channel your creativity into a real project. This dessert station has been on my mind for quite some time, and now, that the time allows, I was able to set it up and I am very happy with the results.
This colorful dessert station was inspired by the beautiful weather outside. The spring is in full bloom and I wanted to create an elegant but playful look that can be used in a real setting.
The white round background and cylinder tables for the dessert station are custom built in-house. And by in-house, I mean my multi-use home garage! My 3 y.o. son Adam helped me build them which makes it for an even more heartfelt project.
The desserts were handpicked at the local grocery stores since not all bakeries operate right now to make anything custom. After the photoshoot, my little one got to enjoy them as a reward for all his help!
On the floral, I collaborated with a wonderful florist Elena Fomina at Purple Violet. I like her floral design and felt like my dessert station absolutely must have her talent displayed.
